About Cirkus Eros - an English Summary

Cirkus Eros is an altogether Swedish website, with everything written in Swedish.

But I have gotten so many letters from non-Swedish visitors, so I think I should at least present a page with an English description of Cirkus Eros, where to find the stuff that doesn't require any language, what Cirkus Eros is all about - the purpose, and the history behind it.

It all started more than 20 years ago, when I was a keen amateur photographer, and got into picturing a few nude models. Occasionally I got the opportunity to continue to do that kind of artistic work.
A little more than 10 years ago, I also started writing erotic short stories - and got them published right away, in a Norwegian-Danish-Swedish erotic magazine by the name Cupido. I still write for them.

Personally, I like the idea of pornography.
I just never really seemed to find the kind of porn that I could appreciate - porn that would arouse me as well as inspire me artistically, give me new angles, new insights.
So I realised that to get the perfect pornography for me, I had to produce it myself.
My pictures and my stories are results of this thinking.
Nicely enough, my art could obviously inspire others too, since everything I wrote was published one way or another, and also some of my pictures.

In the beginning of 1998, I started designing websites. I have since then produced approximately 50 websites - some of them for myself.
In summer 1999, I decided that all my erotic images and short stories should have a site of their own - so Cirkus Eros was born. I wanted a forum for my own Erotica production, so I just made this one for myself.

I'm an artist - a painter, illlustrator, photographer, writer, actor, director and musician.
So practically everything you see on this site are creations of my own.
At least it was like that from the beginning.
Now I am adding more and more stuff from other artists and writers - because they wanted to join in.

And so can you.

Noveller is my page for Short stories – all in Swedish, so for you who does not read Swedish – sorry!

Artiklar - on this page I publish articles I have written, about erotica, sexuality and relationships, all from different angles. It may concern political aspects, or technical advice, or just plain fun. These pages are also entirely in Swedish. You may find some of the pictures illustrating the articles interesting, though.

Galleri - is of course my picture gallery - and for these pages you don't need to know how to read Swedish... :-)

Kurser - here you can read about all the workshops we give, on the subject of sex, love & relationships.

Goda råd means Good advice, and describes my coaching and counselling business, regarding love, sex and relationships.

Uppdrag – means assignments, and here we give information about our photo work and other stuff we do.

Sköna grejer means something like "Good Stuff", or maybe "Delightful Things" - or whatever...
The issue is that we on this page give a lot of advice and reviews on erotic toys, films, books, oils and other things people give to us. Lots of pictures included.

Frågelådan – the obvious Q & A page.

Media means just that – media – and shows some of all the media attention we have gotten through the years.

Fan mail This kand of speaks for itself, right? Here I publish a chice of particularly nice fan mail I get.

Forum This used to be a page where I linked to an external discussion forum on the web. However, I stopped that forum, so now I use that page to link to my Blog instead.
